 Kinsmen Park

The Kinsmen Club operates a paddling pool during the summer. There are swings, playground structure,  as well as a basketball court. The park is located at the corner of Meyers Avenue and 4th Street.

 Struthers Lake Regional Park

Struthers Lake Regional Park is located just 28 kilometers southwest of the Town of Kinistino. The Park gives the visitor a view of sand hills bordering a small peaceful lake. If you’re looking for a great place to host a company picnic, family or school reunion, church picnic, wedding, or anniversary then come visit Struthers Lake.

A Gazebo is available for rent that will hold up to 150 people! Built in 1992, the gazebo provides the perfect place to hold a gathering!

The park has seven rental cabins which are electrified and furnished, with fridge, stove, microwave, table & chairs, bed(s) and hide a beds. Bring your own bedding and dishes. Our concession offers full meals, snacks and a few groceries. Modern washrooms with showers are located adjacent to the concession building.

There is a play area filled with swings, climbers, merry-go-round, teeter-totters, a large creative center on a sand base, and a small water park which includes a slide that goes down to the lake.  There is a great beach, a boat launch, two ball diamonds and many hiking trails.

In addition to the excellent bird watching right in the park, the waterhen marsh is a short 15 minutes away. It is designated a bird sanctuary and is host to many varieties of birds and waterfowl.
