The Kinistino Library is a branch of the Wapiti Regional Library and is run by a Board of local volunteers. The Library has been serving Kinistino and area since 1959 and was incorporated as a non-profit library in 1996. The library is located in the old RM of Kinistino building on Kinistino Avenue.

Free internet on 2 community access computers is offered to card holders. Storytime for 3 & 4 year olds runs from October to May. Other programs run for adults throughout the year like stepping stone painting classes & scrapbooking; and for school age children craft sessions and movies after school. The Library also has a Summer Reading Program each summer with crafts, games and other activities.

Available for lending are adult and children fiction and non-fiction books, magazines and videos. Patrons may also request library materials from other libraries in the region as well as other libraries in Saskatchewan and Canada.

 

LIBRARY HOURS: Monday 12:00  noon – 4:00 pm;
                               Tuesday 9:30 am – 1:30 pm;
                               Wednesday & Thursday 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm
