Communications

The Town and surrounding area are served by Saskatchewan Telecommunications, a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation. The provided service is up to date and comparable to any found in North America. Rates are set on a province wide basis. These services include cellular service, which was upgraded in 2004, providing a digital tower to the Town and area with the 864 prefix. This new tower also is 1X internet capable. Sasktel also provides the Town with dial up and high speed internet capabilities. Dial up internet service is also available from many other companies.

Access Communications Co-operative Ltd is proud to serve the Town of Kinistino with internet, rural internet, security, TV, phone, to residential and business customers. Access is a 100% Saskatchewan-owned co-operative, that provides local programming and the opportunity for community-produced television programming. In 2023, Access Communications started providing free Wi-Fi in the Kinistino Sports Complex.
